As Is What Was is a collection of poems created with no thought at all. None. There is no control over grammar, sound, rhythm, idea, or anything really. Why? I thought it would be fun. Is it insane? Absolutely.
Wag a dog
Frag in the air
I heard the artist wasn’t afraid of cold water
Now you sit in your lunch
Wishing on something
just a tiny bit more colourful
The perspective is off by a millimetre
And everyone knows that means
“YOU SUCK”
Now had there been a time
If you’d paid more attention
The chances of not
Relishing such a despicable sense
Of hysteria would never have arisen
But you know what they say about hindsight
Asses only look good at angles
Or so that’s what they’ve been telling us on the internet these days
First time I am reading poetry without thought. How will it find a place in literature ?
