#58 Wrackity

As Is What Was is a collection of poems created with no thought at all. None. There is no control over grammar, sound, rhythm, idea, or anything really. Why? I thought it would be fun. Is it insane? Absolutely.

Myopic in all ways rapid

No other place for them to be vapid

And the gorillas on the ceiling

Are getting shifty again

They were all placid till the shadows

Started shiuffling past them

Ah new days for the utter way state

There was a wrackity mood for

Thew new wave rain

And all the pubs overcrowding with the new news nudes

Somebody got ink

Spilled on their shoes

So now they’re all after the footprints

Of the fella got loose

Somebody’s spreading rumours

That the child’s uncouth

Quick to diagnose

Quick to possess

Quick to call the whole town hall recess

Clang a bell and strum

Have a gander

The unruly state tuition

Is a blissful somersaulted

So the y let loose the librarian

To see if it tracks

And all they ever got was a sentimental shack

The folders all lined up

Ad so the crime was left cold

They played softball in the field

Till they were thirty five old

Nobody could’ve guessed

The game of the foot

Proud of the fact that nobody gave a hoot

I know the drugged ups callin’

The trashcan fires had the raunchy posh stallin’

Nobody wanted a good name tarnished

So they settled in their lies

Let their plastic smiles coat the masks

Of their pitifull lives

Ah buy the breeze catch yourself a ticket

For the melancholy express

The train’s never late but it’ll let you second guess

It’ll chug and let you mug it out

In your brain storms all small in

Quick shortin’ on the phase breaker

Nobody wanted to stay to save later
