#46 I Bet on the Horse Races Too

As Is What Was is a collection of poems created with no thought at all. None. There is no control over grammar, sound, rhythm, idea, or anything really. Why? I thought it would be fun. Is it insane? Absolutely.

I spy these nightly agendas

Surfing on waves

that carved these adventures

In the beaches on an island

Far far away

Where eI can raise my hand i the breeze

And stay

I fly with these sprightly credenzas

The ardent starry forensic

And here in the midst of a coronership

And a sedimentary rock

I’ll take the volcano

That’s ready to erupt

I spy these nightly agendas

and they’re pretty damn fine

Never had a away the way i do with wine

And i guess that’s a test left to be desired

In the back of a parlour

With stack of corner chips

And practicing bottle flips

Off the coffee table legs

Oh how wild is a wild weird head

I fly and I die in circles

Round rehearsals

Are there a tanks in poisonous purses

Play by the raises of a new thing destiny

Placed in the pages of a newfound hegemony

I bet on the horse races too

Lost a couple hundred

dollars

But what you gonna do?
