On 19 July 2019, I was one of 8 Feature Poets at The Inspired Word’s inaugural College Voices: A NYC Poetry, Prose & Spoken Word Experience. I performed four poems off of my concept collection, Dirtskin, plus one brand new one. Here’s the video.
The Inspired Word is an independent series that began in March 2009. It has a rich history that includes featuring Grammy, Golden Globe, Obie, Pulitzer Prize, and Tony Award winners, as well as Emmy nominees, Best American Poetry poets, HBO Def Poetry stars, American Idol, and AGT finalists.
