That Undiscover’d Country

YouTube Poster
I do not know where you are,
but I will be there.

I do not know your shape,
I do not know your face,
but I bet it’s more than good
Enough for me.

I do not know where you have been,
or what you have seen.

I do not know what you have said
and done.

I do not know your tongue,
I do not know your song,
but I bet the tune is nice
Enough for me.

I don’t know your laws,
or if I will get time to adjust,
How much I should pack,
or if I better rush,
but does it even matter? I know my course;
I am no stranger to new shores.

And yet! Forgive me,
Curiosity is a nag;
Impatience, as usual, tags along.
Can I find the answers in your dawn?

How do the flowers grow
where you are?

Does the night sky leave space
for the stars?

Is there much to see
and left to do?

Or can I finally rest
and enjoy the view?

Are the folks nice to you?

Do you love them all the same?

Do you have room
enough for me?
